1. About Us

This online shop is operated by Motor Neurone Disease NZ, a registered charitable trust. Proceeds from your purchases help support people living with motor neurone disease and fund vital work across Aotearoa.

Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc., who provide the platform that powers our online shop. While Shopify hosts the website, any purchases you make are directly with us.

2. Ordering & Payment

When you place an order, you’re making an offer to purchase the item(s) in your cart. We’ll send a confirmation email once your payment has been processed and your order has been accepted.

Please double-check your details at checkout, especially delivery address and item selection. We may not be able to make changes once the order is processed.

All prices are in NZD and include GST where applicable. Shipping costs will be added at checkout unless stated otherwise. Shop also includes an option to complete payment in AUS Dollars.

3. Shipping & Delivery

We pack and ship orders as soon as we can, usually within 2–5 working days. Once your order is with the courier, delivery times may vary depending on your location.

We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services, customs processing, or events outside our control. Once your parcel has been handed to the courier, risk of loss or damage passes to you.

4. Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If there’s a problem with your order—or if you’ve changed your mind—you can return items within 30 days of receiving them.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and in the original packaging.

  • You’ll need proof of purchase (such as an order confirmation or receipt).

To start a return, please email us at community@mnd.org.nz. We’ll provide instructions and return details.

Please note:

  • Sale items and gift cards cannot be returned or refunded.

  • Returns sent without prior contact may not be accepted.

5. Product Information

We do our best to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate. However, colours may appear slightly different on screen depending on your device or display settings.

We reserve the right to make changes to products or pricing at any time without notice.

6. Privacy

We collect personal information during the order process to complete your purchase and keep you updated about your order. Your information is managed in line with our Privacy Policy, and securely stored through our Shopify platform.

7. Use of Website

You agree not to misuse this website, tamper with its content, or interfere with its operation. You also agree not to use the site for any illegal or fraudulent activity.

8. Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. You have the right to receive goods that are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. By continuing to use the website after changes are made, you agree to the updated terms.
